There is true artistic expression in the design of wrought iron products. Craftsmen have thousands of options for gates, fences, staircases, or any other product made from the materials available in the industry. The broad range of product lines and to-be-assembled patterns also inspire the creation of diverse aesthetic effects. Creative uses of wrought iron products allows any craftsman the freedom of artistic style. One of the great frustrations most frequently felt by blacksmiths (fabricators) and their customers is the need to visualize designs and evaluate the materials used in those designs at the same time. This process would allow for easy estimation of costs and the chance to make changes with just a click of the mouse.

CAD.jpg (CAD.jpg)Indital USA, through its parent company Ind.I.A. S.p.A., has strived for years to meet these needs by offering project photos in multiple design catalogs.  Now we have transfered access to such information in an online, windows based platform with more than 200 back drop pictures in a 3D design software program called AutoCAD 4.0. The software will enable fabricators, architects, and designers an opportunity to visualize entire projects in an intuitive setting. Additionally, this will act as an effective sales tool for attracting customers. The main change in the new version of the software is the fact that it will be offered exclusively online. This is a first in the industry! This choice stems from the wish to offer the product to wrought iron “pros” and to others that have fallen in love with wrought iron. The software program will constantly be updated to add new parts for innovative, fresh designs.  Currently the library holds over 10,000 unique parts to build those one-of-a-kind railings, fences, stairs, and gates.
